Our experience master plan and fully integrated digital information and wayfinding system leverages Sotheby’s brand and expertise as it promotes constantly changing exhibitions and programming. A family of digital devices located at key navigation points throughout the 10 floors facilitates navigation and encourages a sense of discovery.

PRIVATE BLEND SCENTING

InstallationWe designed an interactive installation for Tom Ford Beauty’s flagship store in Covent Garden that introduces guests to the brand’s Private Blend Collection. Our concept pairs scents with evocative visuals that work to convey the unique idea behind each fragrance.

Guests trigger the sensory experience by removing a scented cartridge from the wall. As they sample each perfume, cinematic and atmospheric vignettes materialize across the installation’s screens while a description of key notes and attributes appears on a digital tabletop below. The installation reflects a distinctly Tom Ford approach to brick and mortar retail, one that privileges interactivity and storytelling as cornerstones of the shopping experience.

The Activity Tables are a series of interactive games that allow visitors to imagine their version of the future city in the context of real New York neighborhoods, measure their ideas against real-world metrics, and composite themselves into their creation on the Streetscape Wall.

ProductionThe Temple of Mithras, originally constructed around AD 240, was first discovered in 1954 during the excavation of a World War II bomb site. It captured the imagination of the public, with an estimated 400,000 people visiting the uncovered remains. Today, seven metres below modern street level, London Mithraeum changes the way we encounter archaeology, offering visitors an immersive experience and bringing the bustling world of Roman Londinium to life by unlocking the stories behind the city’s first Londoners.

Global corporation Procter &#38;amp; Gamble sought to showcase their connected products and innovations at the 2019 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas. 2x4&#38;nbsp;partnered with P&#38;amp;G to develop a holistic concept to promote their innovations “Rooted in science. Connected to everyday life.” The brand experience for the event featured several of the company’s top brands: SKII, Gillette, Olay, OralB, and Aria.

Our concept, “Life Lab” showcased the science behind P&#38;amp;G’s products. We designed the booth architecture and experience, including branding, digital, and content that highlighted P&#38;amp;G’s approach to innovation and human-inspired design. The 4,000 square foot booth provided an in-depth look at new products and related experiences. At the front of the booth a digital marquis promoted the day’s events, while a theatre at the center of the booth accommodated daily programming. We designed a custom logo, font and visual language for the event, including digital visualizations throughout the booth. “Life Lab” was voted one of the 20 top exhibits from a field of 4,400 at CES 2019.

Installation
The interactive media wall in the new Tinkham Veale University Center features a realtime simulation of floating cubes that react to users and each other in real time according to a complex system of behaviors and animation. Content is devided into color-coded categories and is displayed as the cubes unfold into modular graphic layouts.
